Well, I've decided to come back to dA, though I still can't get any of my art programs working so no new pics. :/ Plus the new interface on here is scaring me, I can't find anything! :cry:

In the meantime, I've been making AMV's (except without the anime :p ) and uploading them on Youtube. If anyone wants to check them out-- [link]

Everything, down to the first sketch was done on Photoshop CS3, with the airbrush and hard brush tool :) Added a few random textures to give it that look too

I'm not a fan of the new DA style either. I liked the old days better. Anyway, nice green mermaid, the orange fish stand out so much in the picture.

The green hair could be sea weeds, that'd be cool too. =D

You don't have to use programs to do DA stuff, it can be drawings from scrap paper to nice pretty paper to wood or whatever. Art is art. The materials don't matter, although it helps. A bit.. =P

If I run out of paper to draw, I'm using envelopes from junk mail. Or newspapers if I have to.
